CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE FOR MARY BEAM:
Mary Beam, former Music Ministry Pianist and longtime friend to Unity of Ann Arbor made her transition last week. Mary’s
Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2:00 PM  at Church of the Good Shepherd, 2145 Independence Blvd, Ann Arbor. You are invited to don yourselves in the bright, bold colors Mary favored, teal and purple. Please send your favorite photos and memories of Mary to cariadusclan (at) Yahoo (dot) com. In lieu of flowers, you make a donation in Mary’s name to Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance, or Planned Parenthood.

HOLDING SACRED SPACE  Sunday Oct 27 10:00am; With guest speaker Rev. Greg Coles

During times of rapid change and heightened anxiety, how do we create space to listen to God, ourselves and one another? Rev. Greg Coles shares a new perspective of change called Theory U, and how we can use this tool to increase compassion for ourselves and others.  Following the service there will be a light lunch served for those who wish to stay for our Sacred Listening Circle.

“HEALING & RECONCILIATION CIRCLE” with Pot Luck Luncheon at Unity of Ann Arbor

Following our Sunday Service there will be a pot luck luncheon to celebrate the deepening connections nurtured during our church wide H.O.P.C.O.F. experience from Saturday.

Those interested in releasing any lingering hurts of the past and to reconcile themselves to more open and transparent relationships are welcome to stay after the luncheon for a Healing and Reconciliation Circle, facilitated by Rev. Greg Coles.

About our guest speaker/facilitatorReverend Greg Coles is a certified consultant of Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM) and serves as the Regional Representative of our Great Lakes Unity Region. Greg has served in leadership roles for small, pastoral and corporate size ministries since 1991. Having recently retired from pulpit ministry and as senior minister for Unity of Bay City MI, Greg now dedicates his time to assisting other ministers and leaders in our Great Lakes Region. In addition to his compassionate heart and church wisdom, Greg also brings skills developed through his experience with Lombard Mennonite Peace Mediation, Healthy Congregations, and UWM Member Services.

SUNDAY SERVICE: Plan on joining the celebration this Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m.  Guest speaker Rev. Anthony Stewart will share his message To Be Fearless and Free.  Nancy Hare-Dickerson and Keaton Royer are our musicians. Anne Hooghart will serve as our Worship Assistant.
